Environmentally Friendly Tips To Remove Urine Smell
Vinegar, Baking Soda and WaterWe have found 3 ways you can use Vinegar, Baking Soda and Water to remove stains and smells from a variety of places and in several methods too. 1. Make up a baking soda and water paste. Rub that mixture into the affected area. Then use distilled white vinegar over it. Clean area with clean towels to blot up the moisture. Repeat the process again. It is recommended not to do this process more than two times, as you might damage the fabrics. Rinse the area with water and make sure to blot the moisture with towels again. Its best if you can leave the fabric in the sun to dry, or you can use a hair dryer to dry. Vinegar smell should linger for a few days but the bad urine smell should disappear. 2. Add one tablespoon of baking soda to one cup of warm water. Put in a spray bottle and spray area. The baking powder neutralises most odours, including urine. 3. You can also add baking soda and distilled vinegar with normal laundry detergent to remove urine smells from clothing and bed sheets. Line dry items for best results. Listerine Mouth WashListerine mouth wash works the same as the vinegar, baking soda and water removal process. Dilute Listerine mouth wash with water and clean the area. Use clean towels to absorb moisture and leave to dry. The Listerine smell will disappear within a couple of days. Club SodaPour club soda over the affected spot and leave to dry. Corn StarchSprinkle or spray corn starch on the area, and use water to rinse it. This should leave no remaining smells behind.
