ChildrenPanadoliPhoneChildren’s Panadol Makes Keeping Abreast of Breastfeeding Easy
A little kindness can go a long way in helping mums take care of their little ones. That’s why Children’s Panadol has launched an innovative iPhone application providing easy-to-use assistance to ease the pressure of busy days. The free application lends a helping hand in three ways: it can track breastfeeding sessions, play a range of soothing melodies and act as a dosage calculator.

Breastfeeding Tracker: Enables a breastfeeding session to be recorded with just a single tap. It’s easy to view the last feeding session time, date, which side was used and a complete feeding history.
Baby Soother: From the gentle pastoral melodies of Beethoven to the comforting symphonies of Bach, several lullabies have been hand-picked to help get your baby off to sleep.
Dosage Calculator: Provides a quick and easy way to know the best Children’s Panadol dosage requirements for your child. Simply enter your child’s age and weight and the calculator will advise the right pain relief for your little one.

The application can be downloaded now by logging onto www.childrenspanadol.com.au.

ALWAYS READ THE LABEL. Use only as directed. For the temporary relief of pain and fever. Incorrect use can be harmful. Consult your health care professional if symptoms persist.
Panadol® is a registered trade mark of the GlaxoSmithKline group of companies.

  1. Love this, I so wish I had this available when I was breastfeeding as I used to lose track all the time, especially with what side I was up to. Bless the person who thought up this idea.:-)
  2. I'm disappointed to see this company jump on the marketing band wagon under the guise of supporting breast feeding. Demand breastfeeding is currently recommended so with that in mind Breastfeeding Tracker is totally unnecessary because feeds and feed intervals should not be timed at all.
Babies are perfectly capable of indicating when they need a feed and/or when they are full.....parents just need to recognise their childs cues.
  3. I agree with Michelle, demand feeding is best and easiest, and this application can just add to anxiety about breastfeeding rather than encouraging mother's to trust their ability to know what their baby needs and read their baby's cues.
  4. Responding to Michelle Ryan - I don't believe at all that this App is meant to 'time' breastfeeds. From what I've learned from my 2 mothers groups - the time function is VERY beneficial to busy mums. Afterall, sometimes a baby can want a feed after an hour, or was it 2 hours, maybe 2 1/2 hours? Oops, wait - I can't remember. Point taken??This can help get scope on your day !!.
I agree with Sophia - Bless the person who designed this.
  5. I agree with Sophie - I never could remember which side until I'd started on the wrong side - especially in the early sleep deprived days. As a new mother - sometimes you just want to know are they settling in to a routine, when did I last feed - yes it doesn't matter with demand feeding - but sometimes it just makes you feel a little more in control. I'm for anything that makes a mother feel more comfortable with the whole baby thing. Just do what works you!;-)
