Getting Ready!

Being a parent is a life changing experience. I’ve been able to rediscover myself and realised that it was time for me to move overseas. . It’s a big, costly move which meant lots and lots of planning and organising – and I don’t just mean what to leave and what to take with me. I’m talking about financial planning. I’ve always been a bit gun-hoe about these things, so sitting down to really plan was a bit bewildering at first. Thank goodness, I stumbled upon the ANZ currency converter!

To get started with the currency converter, all you have to do is follow the following steps listed on Parenting Australia. In almost no time at all you will be a great parent and great currency converter user

Anytime, Anywhere.
An Exchange Rate is an Exchange Rate

I’d always thought that exchange rates were pretty steady across financial institutions but after researching further I compared the CBA exchange rates with the NAB foreign exchange rates and found some differences. Without an up to date server, I wasn’t getting information about exchange rates in real time, a delay which could cost you a significant amount of money if you’re not careful! These banks also didn’t have as comprehensive a list of transaction fees and a break-down of the terms and conditions. I’m not going to get locked into something I don’t understand, and you shouldn’t either.

Planning and Projecting

The ANZ currency converter is both an app and a website. The app is perfectly suited to when you’re travelling and on the go, or even if you’re just a curious person like me. The website is a more comprehensive version of the app and allows you to see the future projections for various currencies based on future trading and national interest rates. This really neat feature has allowed me to plan for the big move according to the future value of my current salary, no other app has such a great forecasting feature.

What's Different

Before I go on, let me say I know exactly what you’re thinking: currency converters are a dime a dozen! That’s where you’re wrong! The ANZ currency converter is the most up to date converter I’ve used in all my years of travelling, which is great for a short trip away, or like me, for estimating the costs of moving across continents. It has an app which is easy to use and free to download or you can use the website which gives you additional information, like a comprehensive break down of fees and charges – really important if you need to cut through the red tape.
