Puss in Boots

Puss-in-Boots
That romantic and artful swordsman Puss, of Shrek fame, feels ‘the cat’s whiskers’ in his own film. Antonio Banderas reprises his VO (Voice Over) role as Puss, laying it on ‘furly’ thick for the felines, ‘purr’ usual. This fun adventure animation gets four paws up from me, as it entertains from beginning to end; with lots of fantastic fur flying action, with a generous boot full of humour, makes Puss in Boots ‘purrfect’ family holiday fun!

In this adventure, Puss combats, and then teams up, with another notorious and skilled outlaw, Kitty Softpaws (V.O. by Salma Hayek), together they attempt to find, and steal, the fabled magic beans owned by Jack and Jill, who are not nice, not nice at all. Then, there is a rotten egg called Humpty Dumpty, who has a hard boiled score to settle.

Great fun to be had by all, but, the little kiddies (under 6) might find Jack and Jill a bit scary.

Rated: PG (Mild Violence). Opens Dec. 8th. (91mins)
