  1. Get your baby into a bedtime routine from a young age and if you are out try to do the routine as well.
  2. Pick my battles? does it really matter what shoes my son wears?
    Love before you yell
Praise before putting your child down
I try to be Firm but kind.
saying no in lots of ways eg: not now later? how after after lunch? , yes you can have it when mummy is finished.

I so need a holiday............. puhlleeaseeeeeee
  3. To not stress about the little things like the vaccumming has not been done, the dishes need to be washed. The most important thing is being there for your child and spending quality time with him and also trying to have sometime for yourself.
  4. Im a mum to be and have had a tough ride so far. 21 weeks into my pregnancy I would love to take a holiday and have a little pampering my for husband and I. He has been simply an amazing ongoing support and we would love to relax in style and put some time into us.
  5. The one thing that helped me most when my daughter was first born and life was difficult, was to remember how much I loved her and trying to cherish time with her even when she was up and crying at 3am. Thinking about how special she was and how the time would go so fast and I would miss holding that tiny thing in my arms, took all my frustration away. I tried to enjoy everything - even the hard things!
  6. Don't be a martyr - take up ANY offers of help whether it be meal preparation, babysitting, a shoulder to cry on! Every other Mum knows what you're going through and (most) won't judge you for it!
  7. parenting comes naturaly. you always no wats best for your children. spend every minute you can with your child, they dont stay little forever.i always find ways for my daughter to help me no matter what im doing, she is always by my side loving every minute she gets to spend with me. I have 2 girls 1 is 16months old and the other is nearly 6. me and my partner always include both girls in everything we can. on wk ends we have so many hrs we spend with our oldest doing what she would like just to spend that 1 on 1 time with her while the other is spending time with our youngest. They really appreciate it and it makes life alot esier. dont no wat we'd do without them. so enjoy every moment with before you no you will have grandkids :-)
  8. Child crying and you just can't figure out why?
I had this one night and was up half the night. tried the feeding, changing, patting to sleep, cuddling, rocking etc, but to no avail.. I just couldn't figure it out.
Ultimately I stepped back. Laid my baby girl on the bed and stripped her back to nothing and decided to do a full body look over to find a reason for her crying. Turns out she had a small toenail half pulled off and it kept getting caught in her sleep suit which then kept hurting her toe. I nipped the toenail off amd smoothed off the edge. I dressed her back up, gave her a nice big cuddle and she was fine.
Dont doubt yourself. You sometimes just need to step back, take a breath and think outside the obvious.
Hope it helps. Enjoy your kids, they can test your limits, but what doesn't kill us does make us stronger!;-)
