The one thing I have learned…

Is to never allow your children close or remotely close to your iphone, ipad, android or the like. Why? Because children love technology. So much so that it has now become an obsession with my 5 year old and my two year old is of course, following suit.
Where did I go wrong? It all started once at the doctor's office. It was a long wait, my daughter must have been around 3 at the time, the waiting situation was getting...'difficult' And so I gave her my phone. Error 1. Yes, it saved me, quiet child - simple, happy and no stress for me, but long term, it has created a monster.

I now find my phone with 'random' images (see pic one and two) all the time. Funny? Sort of, but the other day we went to a café, she dove into my bag got my iphone and started taking photos of the staff, having a chat with them and as I observed and thought 'where did she learn that?' I also noticed how good she got at using it.
However, whilst she is good at using the basics, she really has no idea what she is 'doing', I woke up today to use my iPhone and all my mailboxes were gone. Gone. Apps were moved or missing all together, I wondered if it was my phone.

Under the cursing of my frustration, I dually noted I must remember to keep my iPhone out of reach, at least unless supervised. But I do know that this is now a monster
with a hunger for all things Apple. Will I give in again? Probably… In your home, do your kids use your technology? What are the 'interesting' things they have done?

At the local cafe, 'trying' to have a coffee while my daughter goes 'happy snappy'
